Around 35% of the heat in your home is lost through uninsulated walls. Cavity wall insulation acts as a barrier between the internal and exterior walls, preventing heat loss.
If your cavity walls are not insulated, we will install insulation by drilling small holes in specific locations on all elevations of your home. We use the holes to blast in either a fibre or bead insulation, and the holes are then filled up to match the rest of your brick work.
If your home has had cavity wall insulation in the past, our first survey will have identified that this insulation has failed. We will need extract the failed insulation and any debris in the cavity first. We do this by removing a small number of bricks at the bottom of the wall on each elevation and removing the old material. We replace the bricks and then install the new and improved insulation in the same way as detailed above.
